It's hard to believe that it's been two years since James came to this world.
He's been healthy and happy, he is a very good boy.
Parenting is probably the hardest job I've ever done but
he's truly our joy!
What a lot of people say a child's birth really change their life or
what my parents used to say you don't know how parents feel about child(ren) are all very true!
August 13, 2010, our little boy turns TWO. :)
He was a tiny boy, 2,8 kg and 53cm at birth. Now his hight is 87cm and weight 13kg.
なんとジェームス誕生から２年もたってしまいました。
本当にいい子に育ってくれてます。 子育てという仕事はとっても大変だけど、ジェームスは
本当に私たちの喜びです。
よく子供の誕生が人生を変えたとか、両親もいつも親にならないと親の気持ちは分からないよ、
と話していたのですが、本当にそうだと実感します。
この８月１３日、ジェームス２歳のお誕生日を迎えました。
産まれた時は２、８キロ、身長53cmだったのに、今は87cm, 13kg.
Last year, Richard made a three layoured birthday cake.
It was my turn this year.
James loves cheese.
Cheeeeeeeeeeese is one of the first words that he was able to speak clearly.
So I decided to make a birthday cheese cake with raspberries on top.
去年、１歳のお誕生日はリチャードが３レイヤーのケーキを作ったので
今年は私ががんばろうかと。
ジェームスはチーズが大好き。
チィィィーズゥって言葉は、ジェームスが話を始めた頃にすでにきちんと言えてた単語の一つです。
チーズケーキにラスベリーを沢山トッピングにする事にしました。
A basic cheese cake was done!
基本的なチーズケーキの出来上がり。
I put raspberries and champagne grapes on top.
ラスベリーとシャンペングレープで飾り付け。
We rarely eat out since his birth. So we made a reservation where we celebrated
his first birthday.
ジェームスが産まれてから外食はなかなかする機会がありません。
お誕生日は、１歳の誕生日をしたレストランに予約を入れました。
The food was great but unlike our last visit, our server was extremely slow.
We were at the table for a very long time
but James was very well behave.
期待どうりに食事はおいしかったのけど、前回と違いウェイターがいまいちでした。
長く待たされたけど、ジェームスはとってもいい子にしてました。
"Smile!"
"More baguette, please!"
”バゲットもっとくださ〜い！
It looks like he had a business meeting. :D
なんかこれ、ジェームスがビジネスの会議しているみたいです。
After dinner...
ディナーの後、レストランの外で。
We were all stuffed. We took a walk in Yorkville, (Toronto).
おなかがいっぱいになりレストランのあるヨークビル周辺をお散歩。
We used to take Momo here every single night.
I felt bad to let her stay home while we were out.
かつては毎晩このあたりにももとお散歩に来たものですが。。。
ももを家に残して３人で出かけていたのが、ちょっと可哀想に思ってしまいます。
"I am fast! Can you chase me, mommy?"
”僕、早いぞ〜。ついて来れる？
Next morning, James was ready to open his presents.
よく朝、ジェームスはプレゼントを開ける準備が出来てます。
"A time to study alphabet?"
”アルファベットのお勉強ですか？”
"What is this huge box?"
”この大きな箱はなんだぁ？？”
That was an easel and James enjoys drawing. It was worth to get.
イーゼルでした。これを使ったよくお絵描きしてくれるから選んで正解でした。

さぁケーキ！ その前に写真からね。
"Are we really going to eat that cake?"
”いつケーキ食べられるの？？？”
James wasn't so happy after a long wait... lol
ジェームスだんだん態度が変わってきました。(笑）
"Let's brow the candles!"
After I stop videotaping, he did blow the candles.

このビデオ取り終わった後、本当にキャンドルを消しました。

Why didn't we use a tripod to take a family portrait including his dad.
It would be perfect.
これが私のお気に入りの１枚。
３脚を使ってダディも入ってもらえば完璧だったのにね。
Momo and Pinot were about to sample the cake on birthday plates.
ももとピノの番。ちゃんとお誕生日用のお皿で食べます。
James wasn't into raspberries but I am glad
he finished cheese cream very quickly.
ジェームス、ラズベリーはあまり食べなかったけど、
チーズケーキそのものはすぐに食べ終わりました。

The birthday party for all August kids was taken place on James' actual birthday.
Teachers often told us James enjoyed participating other kids' birthday parties and always wanted to put the birthday hat on.
This day, he got his first birthday hat at daycare and he was cheered by all other kids.
One of the teachers, Akemi sensei (teacher) made this Anpan-man James' photo was attached inside of the card.
How sweet!!

Lately James started calling me MOMMY！
I dreamed about this moment since his birth... two years ago!!
Ah, finally!!!
He's been calling dada (daddy) and Momo for past one year but he never called me
mommy or his best friend Pinot's name until this month.
When he says minou (means Pinot) it sounds very cute.
After James said everyone's name then he burped.
He's a real comedian!

なんとジェームス、やっとマミ〜と言ってくれるようになりました。
２年も待ったのですよ。
やっとだ、とっても嬉しい！
ダダ（ダディ）とももはこの１年ずっと言えていたのにね。
やっと大の仲良し、ピノの名前も言えるようになりました。
でも、みにょ〜って聞こえてそれがとっても可愛いのです。
このビデオ、みんなの名前を言ってから、げっぷで閉めてます。笑えます。
